Like you've just stepped out of a saloon

Every artist has their nemesis, and mine is hair. Not in the sense that hair will bring about my inevitable doom, just that it's hard to get to look just right. I've tried writing stories about bald people or alternate bald universes but it just doesn't... flow. So here's some pics of ladies, with hair.

If you want one of these hirsuite damsels, please leave a comment with an email address or some way of contacting you for a postal address. I wouldn't recommend leaving your actual address in the comment as the internet is full of freelance hairdressers who might mess up your blow-dry, just for kicks. But you knew that

standing on their own two feet...

And in the last batch of tawdry geek-doodles we have two of the co-stars of The Sandman, the sisters Death and Delirium. Do you think their parents were really depressed hippies?

"What shall we call the new baby, dear? Moonflower? Astra?"

"Death"

"We've already got a daughter called Death, what about Laylandii?"

"Delirium"

"...Ok, Delirium it is"

Anyhooo

If you want one of these legally ambiguous whatnots, please leave a comment with an email address or some way of contacting you for a postal address. I wouldn't recommend leaving your actual address in the comment as the internet is full of viscious phishers who might phiddle your phinances (with wuthless ephishency). But you knew that

please swich on your magic beam...

Next in the parade of up-for-grabs fanart is more Sandman imagery. Yes I do make up my own stuff actually but I'm keeping most of that.

If you want one of these flippertygibberts, please leave a comment with an email address or some way of contacting you for a postal address. I wouldn't recommend leaving your actual address as the internet is full of religious enthusiasts who might try and 'save' your 'soul'. But you knew that

but the lions take him for a friend...

Righto, let's begin this 'art' giveaway. I am, perhaps unsuprisingly, a bit of a comics fan and not above a bit of sad, pathetic geek art. In that spirit, here are some pics of a character from Neil Gaimans 'The Sandman'. This is supposed to be Daniel, the pasty blonde replacement for the original pasty goth hero of the series, who gets jammed up at the end. So, if you've never read The Sandman, I suppose I've just ruined the ending for you. Sorry.

So, if you want one of these scrap-a-doodles, please leave a comment with an email address or some way of contacting you for an email address. I wouldn't recommend leaving your actual address as the internet is full of dangerous maniacs who might kill you. But you knew that.

The Great 'Art' Give-away

Friends of me may know that I draw. Constantly, on anything that lies still long enough to be drawn on. If you've just come to this weblog and don't know me from adam, just take my word for it. It's a very pleasant way to spend time but as a result I have a lot of drawings lying around. Little scraps that are never meant to be major pieces but none the less I can't bring myself to throw away. They are also not things that I particularily want on my walls, because I am unutterably beourgois, so they tend to end up languishing in folders and drawers, out of sight.

So, rather than let them fade away, unseen, I thought I'd set them free to you, the random people of the internets.

Just make a comment on the picture you want leaving an email address - remember to space it out or add bits so evil spambots can't get at you - and I'll contact you for a mailing address. I'll send to most places in the world, obviously it won't be framed but I'll try to ensure it isn't totally mangled by the time it gets to you. If you are so moved that you feel compelled to send me 50p in the post by way of renumeration then so be it but don't feel you have to.

If I get loads of requests for a pic I'll assign some random/arbitrary way of deciding who gets what but I'm not anticipating a heavy demand.

Also, as this is a free give away I'm afraid you have no statutory rights and if the thing gets lost in the post or I mess the whole thing up then tough. Draw your own inane doodles.
